SCHOLARSHIP DETAILS
The TGA - Ontario Junior Scholarship is an exciting new program from The Golfer's Academy, designed to give a lucky junior golfer a great head start.
Details include:
- A 5-month indoor golf membership is included ($3 300 value).
- Play any time Monday - Friday.
- Play up to 4 hours/week.
- Includes 1 hour of weekend play (Saturday OR Sunday), as part of your weekly 4 hour time allotment.
- Includes access to our putting green.
- Reservations must be booked 2 weeks in advance.
- All sessions include use of our TrackMan technology to help you improve your game.
- You may bring your own coach with you, coaches are welcome.
- Access to our elite golf pros, to help get you on the right path.
- 1 one-on-one welcome session with our golf pros (if you don't already have your own coach).
- Free Trackman account to allow you to share your progress online with your coach. Includes all TrackMan data and videos.
- Includes scholarship welcome package.

Junior Golf Scholarship application requirements:
- Application must be submitted by September 1, 2020.
- Applicant must be aged 12-18.
- Application must include a 1-2 minute video.
- Application must include an essay of 500 words minimum.
- Applicant must complete the application in full, and ensure all requirements are included. Applications missing requirements will be rejected without notice.
- Applicant must upload video to Facebook and tag The Golfer's Academy in the video post.
- Video must be made "public" so that it can be shared/seen by anyone.
- Parental consent form/model release form must be signed by parent.
- Successful applicants must supply their video after being selected. The Golfer's Academy will retain the right to publish videos or portions of videos on our website, Vimeo, and YouTube channel.
Junior Golf Scholarship eligibility requirements:
- Must be between 12-18 years of age.
- Applicant must be aged 12-18.
- Applicant must have completed the previous school year with a minimum B/75% average.
- Applicant must have a SIGNED letter of recommendation from a school official, either a grade school or secondary school teacher/principal.
- Applicant must have a SIGNED letter of recommendation from one other appropriate source. For example, a coach, mentor golf club manager, pastor, scout leader/guide leader.
- Applicant must have completed playing at least 1 season of golf.
- Applicant must have participated in at least 2 competitive tournaments. Please list standing in tournaments.
