Junior Golf Summer Camp
Dear parents,
Our summer golf camp is a fantastic opportunity for young golf enthusiasts to improve their skills, have fun, and make new friends. It is designed to provide a comprehensive learning experience for participants of all skill levels—from beginners to advanced players.
The camp offers a range of activities, including professional coaching, practice sessions, and friendly competitions. Participants will receive expert guidance on various aspects of the game, including swing technique, putting, chipping, and course management.
In addition to golf instruction, the camp also offers recreational activities and team-building exercises to enhance the overall experience. Whether your child is a beginner looking to learn the basics or an experienced player aiming to refine their skills, summer golf camp is the perfect setting to foster their passion for the sport while enjoying the summer sun.
Indoor golf camps offer several benefits for junior golfers
1. Skill Development: indoor golf camps provide a controlled environment for junior golfers to focus on skill development. They can receive personalized coaching and guidance from experienced instructors, who can help them improve their swing technique, putting, and other aspects of the game.
2. All-Weather Training: indoor golf camps allow junior golfers to continue practicing and training regardless of the weather conditions outside. This is particularly beneficial during the off-season or when the weather is unfavourable for outdoor play. It ensures that young golfers can maintain their skills and progress consistently throughout the year.
3. Technology and Analysis: our indoor golf camps utilize advanced TrackMan technology, which provides detailed feedback and analysis to junior golfers. This enables them to have a better understanding of their strengths, as well as areas for improvement. It also allows for precise measurements of shot distances, club speed, and other important factors in their game.
4. Focus on Fundamentals: indoor golf camps often emphasize the fundamentals of the game, such as grip, posture, and alignment. Junior golfers can learn and practice these essential elements in a controlled indoor setting, helping them build a strong foundation for their golfing journey.
5. Mental and Strategic Training: in addition to physical skills, indoor golf camps may also provide mental and strategic training. Junior golfers can learn how to approach different situations on the course, develop a pre-shot routine, manage their emotions, and make better decisions. These aspects are crucial for their overall development as golfers.
6. Fun and Social Experience: indoor golf camps offer a fun and social experience for junior golfers. They get to interact with other young golfers who share their passion for the sport. This camaraderie and friendly competition can enhance their enjoyment of the game and foster new friendships.
Overall, indoor golf camps provide a focused and conducive environment for junior golfers to develop their skills, regardless of the weather. They offer a range of benefits, from skill improvement to mental and strategic training, while also ensuring an enjoyable and social experience for young golf enthusiasts.

Golf lessons and camps for boys and girls
Here at The Golfer's Academy, we offer several junior golf programs for kids of all ages. Programs include: junior golf lessons, clinics, and summer golf camps.
Golf is a wonderful game! It's the only sport where each competitor is the referee, player, equipment handler, and ambassador. It's designed to teach etiquette, patience, fairness, and goodwill towards your fellow competitor. Playing golf is also a great way to meet new people.
Our junior golf programs help foster and develop all aspects of the game. They teach younger players values of honesty, integrity, and respect—both on and off the course.
In order to personalize your child's training program, please tell us a bit about him or her. Simply submit our quick Swing Analysis to get started (no commitment).
A young golfer's first indoor golf lesson.
The first lesson will teach your child golfing basics, such as: proper grip, the importance of good alignment and posture, golf rules etiquette, and most importantly, how to enjoy the game.
The structured, easy-to-understand, effective training programs have been developed by our certified CPGA golf instructors. Their unique approach to teaching is successful because they work with your child, enhancing their strengths while improving their understanding of golfing fundamentals.
Junior lessons may begin as early as age 5, until young adulthood.
Your child will learn to:
- Understand the basics of how to swing the club.
- Club management (which club to use and how far the ball will travel).
- Chip, putt, and play the game through drills and game play.
Today, junior golf clubs are very sophisticated.
Sure enough...more manufacturers are focusing their knowledge and technology on making and designing equipment specifically for junior golfers.
Therefore, borrowing a cut-down adult club for your junior golfer will not help or her become a great golfer. Instead, look for a junior golf club set appropriate for your child's age
Here are three reasons why adult clubs that have been cut down to size are not recommended for young golfers:
1. Young golfers are small and not strong...they need light clubs that are easy to control when they swing. Adult clubs are just too heavy for kids.
2. Because junior golf clubs sets are light, your child will be able to hold the club in the right position at the top of the swing. Junior golf clubs sets have the right shaft length to avoid balance and posture problems. If the club length is too short or too long, it will make it difficult for the young golfer to hit the ball with consistency.
3. Junior golfers who use cut-down clubs are unable to get height on their shots. Keep in mind that the size of the junior club's grip is designed to fit your child's hands. Because children's hands are small, it's difficult for them to play with a big grip.
Playing golf is great for children of all ages
Just a few of the benefits kids get from learning and participating in golf:
- A sport that virtually anyone can play and enjoy.
- Minimal risk of injury as compared to many other sports.
- Safe and positive environment.
- Lifelong friendships are built.
- Spend time outdoors - get back to nature and down the video games!
- Learn important life lessons.
- Scholarship possibility.
- A great way to spend family time together.
- It's fun!
