NEW SAFETY EQUIPMENT
Medical-grade HEPA filters in each room
We have installed medical-grade HEPA Filters in each of our indoor golf rooms. Our quality filters are specialty air purifiers with 60 sq. ft. of medical HEPA (rated MERV-17), certified to remove 99.97% of airborne particles. This filter removes a wide range of airborne pollutants and allergens, including dust, pollen, chemicals, and gases, but most importantly, it filters viruses and bacteria.
Electrostatic sprayer and hospital-grade disinfectant
Our new electrostatic sprayer is used to disinfect each room using our hospital-grade disinfectant.
The electrostatic sprayer provides an electrical charge to the disinfectant, allowing it to wrap around surfaces with an effective and even coverage. This helps to ensure that the surfaces in each room are adequately disinfected.
We use only the highest-quality disinfectant, a powerful, non-toxic, hospital-grade disinfectant solution that is Health Canada approved and EPA registered. This solution is 99.99% effective at killing viruses and bacteria, but is non-corrosive and does not cause skin irritation. It is 100% biodegradable, hypo-allergenic, and safe on fabrics.
This particular disinfectant works to keep surfaces sanitized for 7 days. So to further reduce the spread of the virus, each room is fully treated on a weekly basis.
ULV Fogger with Hypochlorous Acid
Hypochlorous Acid is made by our white blood cells to fight infection, making it a naturally occurring disinfectant. It’s 100% non-toxic, disinfectant you can ACTUALLY drink and is fully biodegradable product. It’s clinically proven, 100 times more effective than sodium hypochlorite (used in bleach) and rapidly destroys bacteria (i.e. Listeria and E.coli), and viruses.
Hypochlorous Acid used in the medical field since WW1, when it was used to irrigate and disinfect wounds. Our staff will be fogging the entire Academy every 3 hours as well we will be fogging between all bookings inside the simulator bays to minimize any potential spread of the virus. If you would like more information about our COVID-19 procedures or equipment, please contact us at info@thegolfersacademy.ca.
